The Florida Guardian ad Litem Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide additional resources for the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program and its affiliated circuit non-profit organizations in order to promote Guardian ad Litem representation for 100% of abused, neglected and abandoned children in Florida's dependency system.

"I Speak for This Child: True Stories of a Child Advocate," by Gay Courter
 A former Guardian ad Litem volunteer recounts her experiences as a child advocate.

Trilogy — “A Child Called ‘It’,” “The Lost Boy,” “A Man Named Dave,” by Dave Pelzer
 The author is a child abuse survivor who has chronicled his experiences in three parts: Dave’s life with his “abusive, alcoholic mother”; his stay in foster care after he was removed from his mother’s care; and his journey to adulthood and trying to overcome shame and rejection.

“Death from Child Abuse … And No One Heard,” by Eve Krupinski and Dana Weikel
 The book is the true story of a young Florida girl's death from abuse at the hands of her mother's boyfriend, with the acquiescence of the mother.
 It is also a guide to understanding and confronting child abuse and neglect, domestic violence and dating violence.
