Guardian ad Litem Program
Twelfth Judicial Circuit

Be the difference in a child’s life.
Children’s Guardian ad Litem Fund
The Children's Guardian ad Litem Fund, Inc. was established in 1995 to support the Guardian Ad Litem program in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit by raising money and promoting community awareness for the GAL Program. Funds come from donations, grants, and the “Let the Season Begin” luncheon and fundraiser in November.
The Fund honors requests from GAL volunteers on a variety of needed items for the children. In 2003 over $50,000 was spent on items such as clothing, eyeglasses and therapeutic camp scholarships. Since 2002, the Fund has provided 100 children with bicycles and helmets.
The Fund also supports the recruiting, training, recognition and retention of the 200 GAL volunteers in this area.
If you are interested in helping the Guardian ad Litem program but cannot volunteer your time, a donation will go a long way in maintaining the ongoing programs that directly help children.
